Can you help with a donation towards The Trafford Crisis Fund’s aims to raise £250,000?
This fund would be to help people access basic provisions such as food and medication, as well as making sure that those who are lonely and at risk have someone to talk to.
The fund is being administrated by Trafford Housing Trust on behalf of the people of the borough, and is supported by the Trafford Partnership. This includes Trafford Council and a group of charities, residents, businesses, faith groups and other local organisations committed to supporting local residents. All funds will go to the charities and community groups who are on the frontline helping people in need in the borough.
Cllr Andrew Western, Leader of Trafford Council, said: “These are very worrying times for all of our vulnerable and isolated residents and Trafford Council and our partners are doing everything possible to protect them. This fundraising campaign is a fantastic idea and will help those most in need in our borough. I am amazed by the generosity of the Trafford public and have no doubt they will support this very worthwhile cause.”
